About Dr. Strom
Paul J Strom, Jr., M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of eye disease. He grew up in Sarasota, Florida and received his Medical Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He graduated in the top of his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Dr. Strom completed his internship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida and went on to Case Western Reserve University for his residency in ophthalmology. After finishing his residency, Dr. Strom practiced at the Montgomery Eye Center in Naples, Florida. In September of 2008, Dr. Strom returned to Sarasota and opened the Strom Eye Center at 2020 S. Tamiami Trail where he continues to be voted America’s Top Doctor. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and is on staff at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
